Once the Network Business Unit of Delta Electronics, Delta Networks has been in operation since 1989. Delta Networks became formally incorporated in 1999 as an independent company with sales offices worldwide and R&D development center and manufacturing plants in Taiwan and mainland China. In July of 2007, Delta Networks, Inc. became a publicly traded company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0722 HKEC).

Today, Delta Networks is an ODM/OEM powerhouse with over 2,600 employees and more than 1 million square feet of manufacturing space. By the end of 2007, annual sales revenue has reached 418 million US dollars.

The engineering staff, which numbers more than 350, has developed a rich product portfolio that ranges from enterprise/telco grade Ethernet switches to home/broadband networking equipment.
