Professor Director Vincent Chan
of the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS)
research laboratory of Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) gave a course to Delta Networks on the conceptual structure
of modern wireless networking communication research and
recent LIDS advances. The course described the future application
benefits of long-range wireless communications such as with
advanced satellite systems. LIDS Professor Moe Win and Researcher
Henk Weymeersch also spoke on other wireless networking communications
technology such as RFID and Ultrawide Bandwidth networking
and provided research comparison facts. LIDS is a modern
interdisciplinary research laboratory of MIT pioneering in
the study of control systems, vision and speech systems,
and communication systems both in wireless and optical networking
communications. Attendees included Mr. Sam Liang, Chairman
and CEO of Delta Networks and key engineering managers of
DNI. The course-speech was hosted by MIT ILP and Epoch Foundation. |
